The people we choose.

No matter how independent, strong-willed and audacious we are, or believe ourselves to be, the people we choose to include in our lives can make or break us.

Another lesson learnt today.

    Is it really?

Have we learnt the lesson finally or there are things still needs to be explored over and over again.

  2. Yes, whatever you wrote is so true. Thats the reason I have been very reluctant on including people in my life or even near me. You never know when someone takes you for granted or hurts you.

something is wrong here. I didn't get the part "Today" in above sentence.

People come and go in our lives. Each one leaves footprints (some good, some bad) in more ways than one. The ones who hurt us and cause pain, we must learn to forgive them.

Each day is an experience and teaches us some or the other lesson. A conversation with a frnd taught me that yesterday.

I totally agree. We carve our own lives and create what we want to create out of it. And what we become depends on how hard we try.

But I sincerly thank GOD for certain people who have stood the test of time and given me a fresh new perspective on life. They keep my feet standing firmly on solid ground. They make me function better bathed in their affection, love, care, concern, loyalty, devotion, inspiration and encouragement.

Yup. Life is an ongoing learning process. I can handle anything as long as I know the people who care for me are by my side – not behind me, beside me, below or above me ---but by my side!

From the not-so-pleasant experiences of life, I've learnt that people get on with their lives. Nature does the same.

Life is like a drive in an old rattling ride navigating the humps and bumps down an old beaten path. We so often miss the gems and miracles that are thrown our way by someone who cares enuf to ease out difficult journey.

You are right! It's a choice we make, after all.
