Investing in stars.

There are various parameters one keeps into consideration while trading in the Stock Market. Experts advise that the best investment candidates are stocks that have already outperformed the market.

How good is the company? Do the stocks have have room to run? Can you make money on it? How much would be your return on equity (ROE)? What business is the company into? What is the potential for future growth? What is the stock's current valuation?

If Bollywood/Hollywood stars were stocks you could invest in, which one would you buy? And why?

  1. Hey Nikita,

I don't know nuts about stocks and shares but I can definately have a take on films.

I'd like to invest in Shah Rukh Khan with my eyes closed. But only if he is doing what he does best in the film, and that is being filmi ! He's the safest bet if he's going to be saccharine sweet, woo the heroine in exotic locations, dance to hit numbers and do his routine emotional drama.

But just hope he doesn't try and experiment with movies like Asoka and Paheli where he was pathetic !

  5. Nikita,

Emraan Hashmi would be my scrip. Low-budget, underwater kissing, sexy actress and Himesh Reshamiya; all in all make a good mid-cap investment.

    Cheers!

    Richa.
