Behind every successful person is a man or a woman. A person who is the wind beneath your wings. That one special person who has the capacity to love you unconditionally and beautifully. A person who understands you even when you don't deserve it; someone who can make you smile or laugh even at times when you don't want to; someone who sees your good - shares and understands your dreams and also helps you get there, gives you gyaan on determination and conviction, who inspires you along and rejoices in your triumphs, who is there besides you when everyone else flees, someone who believes in you. Someone who calls even at 3AM and tells you what a retard u've been; who kicks you in the butt when others wudn't dare; forgives all your goof-ups and blunders and would ask you to try again.
Isn't it amazing to have sucha lovely soul in your life? How do these people exist in a world full of jealousies, back stabbing, insults, constant ridicule and snobbery? How is this wonderful person untouched by all of it? Why is he always in content, even when he is sidelined in another person's path to fame and fortune?
Is this person insane? or psyched? No! He is someone with a face. You may find him in your family, friends, spouse or even a stranger - who has touched your life in some way or the other. They have the gift of love. Love is the only thing I know which makes you - unselfish, giving, understanding, gentle, courageous, generous, devoted and loyal. This is the kinda love which moves you to soar beyond your goals. You need nothing else other than this kinda love to make it to anything in this world. If you have found this kinda love in any man or woman - You have found an incomparable TREASURE.
Cherish them!

I feel one would consider himself/herself successful in this race of life is when he/she finds that special person.
Being successful in eyes of the world is different then being successful in your own eyes.
In the eyes of world success is measured in terms of Monetary values or Fame but I feel success is something totally different than what is seen from outside. I would consider myself Successful only when I can love that one special person who is the wind beneath my wings in my total capacity, unconditionally and with undivided attention throughout my life and even after that..Becoz there is connection to heart and we will meet in heaven also :-)

Everyone is brought up in different manner. Everyone has different level of conquering thier senses.
How is this wonderful person untouched by all of it?
Perseverance to adhere by his/her defined rules. Determination to stand out from the crowd. And the Burning desire within the person to make a Change!!

True, very true. I feel the "jealous, backstabbing, insulting.." people are the types who find an easy excuse to not do what they wanted to do in their life. I guess its very easy to sit down and say that your neighbour must have bought the new jaguar through wrong means rather than hardwork or better still I don't like jaguar's..( the I dont have one so I dont like it syndrome). I guess they are the kind who manage to get by in life but probably not get anything out of it. I would'nt say that these kind of people are bad. I guess its more about them not having that level of thinking where in they try to figure out things in their own life so are pretty much surprised at others success.
ReplyDeleteI think all of us have experienced these emotions sometime in our life. Its probably more a question of how you manage to eliminate/manage these habits by enriching your own life with a lot of positivity, love and just doing your own thing. I once read a book by Eckhart Tolle, called "practicing the power of now", in which he mentions that a person who is not happy when he is with himself could never be happy with other people. and you would probably agree with me that the people who are happy are the people who are free of jealousies, or any other negative emotion atleast for that moment, those moments that you spend with your family, friends, probably your dog or even alone. They are those moments that are totally unbaised, love being unconditional - total bliss.
I think we are all learning as we grow and grow as we learn, so its not that difficult to find such people. Its just a matter of finding that person who fits into your scheme of things, the way you think, the way you look at things. we probably need to open up and look around and with the basic assumption that all people are good, proceed, because even the "jealous, insulting and backstabbing" people are good people but the one's who probably lack "love" or "that something" in their life.

What I meant to convey through this post is that.."Behind every successful person is another man or woman who understands the meaning of love.” It's not abt stealing the credit of your success..it's abt that one person(s) who loves you unconditionally and drives you to soar towards your dreams and beyond it; a person who is a steady pillar of strength when strength isn't there!!
